Assessments

Dr. Marcel Peloquin provides psychodiagnostic assessments for patients who require a diagnosis. Your insurance provider may require a diagnosis from a psychologist. However, some insurance plans primarily concern that you are treated by a psychologist and do not require a psychiatric diagnosis. Other plans cover treatment with other allied mental health professionals.

Initial assessment sessions are two hours, with the last twenty minutes used for charting. Additional sessions may be necessary, depending on your or your provider’s needs.

The clinic also charges time writing reports at the standard rate for our services in fifteen-minute increments.

Currently, no clinicians are providing neuropsychological or cognitive assessments, so when booking, please share with your clinician if there are diagnostic needs.
